Life in dogs sanctuary

An old lady who clearly was dying on the street

People ask us to please take healthy dogs to Freedom Sanctuary, offering large donations. As much as we would love to do this, here is the reason why we don't.
This poor dog appeared in Iskele, North Cyprus. Kind people tried to feed her, but she was so scared of people. She was skinny, obviously seek, tired and lost. She was abandoned.
Freedom couldn't stay away and now this dog is there. She has leishmania and erlichia, but medical treatment has been already started, we are sure she will be fine in just one month. Her name is Ollie, by the way, and you all are very welcome to come and see her. She loves cuddles and she is so happy when someone touches her!

After three months spent in Freedom for medical treatment and recovery lady Ollie was adopted

As always, we are very happy to share good news of adoption, as sharing good news about old dog adoptions from Freedom Sanctuary inspires others to adopt, educates about the benefits of older pets, promotes animal welfare, and builds a community of support for animals in need.
